Frequently Asked Questions

How long are the courses?

The individual courses provided by Face2Face Beauty Academy are completed in two stages. Initially, you will receive by post the course notes which include the Anatomy and Physiology applicable to the course along with consultation and contraindication information. The second stage is your practical training day with a qualified tutor where you will learn the skills and techniques for your chosen subject.

Who accredits the courses?

All of our courses are accredited by The Association of Beauty Therapists (ABT). This means that each of our courses is professionally recognised and that, once you have successfully completed your course, you can gain insurance to practice the services you are accredited for.

Do I get a Certificate?

Once you have successfully completed your course, you will received your accredited certification. Face2Face Beauty Academy assess your abilities and skills in person and will not ask that you send in case studies before receiving your certificate.

What's in the kits?

The kits we provide are designed to allow you to complete your training with Face2Face Beauty Academy and begin to practice and develop your skills. The contents of each kit is listed on the individual course pages. If you prefer, you are welcome to provide your own materials, thought you would need everything in the kits to complete the courses. Alternatively, for a nominal fee you can choose to use the tutors kit on many of the courses.

What dates are available?

Our tutor will always do their very best to provide your training at a time and date that suits you. Many of the courses are available 7 days a week and incur no extra charge for learning at the weekend. Courses can fit around your work patterns, child care concerns or other commitments you may have.

Where can I do my training course?

Our training facilities are at Face2Face Beautique, 1st Floor (above Dotique), Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield. Your learning will take place in a luxury Salon, with stations for nails, makeup and hair styling, along with a beautiful and serene treatment room for many of the other courses.

When available, we can offer mobile training in your own home or salon. Though there is an additional fee for this, you can gain accreditation and practice your skills without leaving your home!

How do I make payment?

We currently accepted payment in two ways. You can pay for the course when you take it - for this, we will require a deposit and payment for the kit (if you require one) with the remainder of your payment is due on the day of the course. You will receive a receipt for each payment you make, you should retain this as it can be used in the end-of-year accounts.

Secondly, you can spread the cost of the course over time. Through our affiliation with Payl8r, you can complete your course now and make payments over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. This will allow you to start to provide your services as soon as possible!
